ABUNDANCE Spell Jar Instructions
Abundance is about resources, people, and financial security. This spell is curated to be adaptable, flexible for your own needs and craft.Â
a note of caution
Magic isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about weaving intention with action. A spell jar for prosperity is powerful, but it works best when paired with practical steps: update your resume, send out those applications, and let the magic amplify your efforts.

Step one
Lay Out Ingredients
Find a space that is clean of clutter and lay out your ingredients. I know with little kids, “clean” and “clutter” seem to be opposites and they are. But pushing items on the counter to the side and swiping the crumbs off and onto the floor counts, in my eyes. If that’s where you are now, know that I see you.Â

Create Your Intention
Begin by clearly stating your goal of the working, or spell. You’ll write this on your bay leaf. You can draw a picture or speak the words over the bay leaf if writing isn’t possible. Remember, magic is adaptable.
Speak in the Present
When you create your intention, ensure you use present tense. It’s more powerful and clearly shows your mind what is, rather than what may happen. Stay clear of words like, “can” or “will”.Â
Embody Your Goal
“I have an amazing job that fills me with satisfaction, with coworkers I adore!” OR
“I have more than enough money for my needs and desires, and I use my abundance for good.”
Ingredient focus
This kit comes curated with several herbs, gemstones, and other items. You'll learn more about each item below. Choose which items you will use, and which, if any, you will leave out. This is the customization of magic.

A Note About Ingredients
Magic thrives on nuance, just like we do as people. There are a lot of gray areas in life, which makes for a beautiful picture. In my kits, I go beyond the basic “abundance” ingredients and add in some heart for your picture. I include ingredients like chickweed and elderberry to provide balance and healthy growth. I also add in coffee. Because we could probably all use a cup and our spell is no different. A little bit of (fair trade, responsibly harvested) coffee gives a big punch of focused oomph. And yes, that’s the technical term.Â
Aventurine
Creativity and Opportunity
Aventurine is said to reinforce leadership qualities and encourages perseverance. Aventurine sees, “alternatives and possibilities, especially those presented by other people.”Â
Abundance requires connection and opportunities. One of the many sources of abundance are the people and support we receive daily and in extreme circumstances.Â
Cinnamon
Abundance and success
Bay
Manifestation & Abundance:Â
Bay is a great ingredient because it is easy to write or draw on, is big enough to do so, and represents manifestation, which is what we’re doing here. Bay is also commonly used in cooking around the world, which means you can work magic any time you cook with Bay.
CLove
Abundance
Chickweed
Balance
Unbalanced growth and abundance leads to greed, discontent and feelings of entitlement. The world is yours for the taking, sure. But it’s also mine, and everyone else’s.Â
Remember, there is more than enough for everyone.Â
Clover
Luck and success.Â
WE all need some luck on our side, and this represents being open to and a great place for luck to land.Â
This may, depending on season, be interchanged with Gomphrena Globosa.
Orange
Creativity and healthy growth: When we are creative, our options and paths are more abundant, and we grow stronger as we reach our goals.
Coffee
Speed and sustained energy
Coffee beans in this spell represent a quick but sustained energy,Â
Sage
Wisdom and guidance
Elderberry
Healthy growth and choices
Hollyhock
Abundance and creativity
Star anise
Balance
Tiger's Eye
Grounding and protection
We’ve all seen, read, or known somebody who wants what someone else has. This is to protect you from negative outside influences seeking to gain what you gain. It’s also to ground you. No need to go get a big head and be high and mighty and greedy. Stay grounded, and use your abundance for good.
candle
There’s something powerful about looking into a flame and repeating a mantra. Burn the candle and let the wax melt onto your sealed jar, and repeat your intention.Â
Sunstone
Joy de Vivre, Intuition.Â
I include sunstone for a few reasons. One, it’s said to help you detach from feelings of being disadvantaged, and increases self-worth and confidence. Two, it also helps you make and stick to your boundaries. And third, it heightens intuition and lets your authentic, beautiful self shine through.
yarn
Tie it all together! The yarn holds on the charm and keeps it all looking pretty.Â
Sunflower
Happiness & Contentment
Sunflower helps us to see the beauty, the joy in our life today, to visualize our satisfaction and contentment when we reach our goal, but also along the way.
charm
For symbology and for prettiness. I think it looks nice.Â
The tree represents growth and abundance. The tree of life, and the connections of the roots are important to any sort of growth.

My Story
I became a witch as a teenager, and after a brief 13-year detour exploring other roads, paths and religions, I have come home, so to speak, to my Goddess-worshipping, tarot-reading self.Â
The “Witch Aesthetic” is a thing these days, maybe it always has been, but it’s not really my personal vibe. I am not afraid of the dark or of shadow, but black and skulls has never been my go-to. I’m more of a, “wear bright colors and bangles and red lipstick” kind of witch.Â
I’m a kitchen witch, a word witch, a book witch, a tea witch, a craft witch, a well-read and straightforward witch. Mostly, I’m a woman, a mom, a crafter, and a person.Â
