Notions: My Writing
Where musings meet magic, and the threads of daily life twist into something sacred.
A Tangle of Thoughts & Threads
Writing is at the heart of my magic, and reflection is one of my favorite (and honestly least-favorite) tools. But when I started sharing my thoughts on witchcraft, I noticed how many barriers keep people from finding their own rhythm in the Craft:
Gatekeeping and perfectionism. It’s easy to feel like you’re doing it wrong, or that someone else’s path is the only “right” one. But the truth is, your practice grows from your lived experience, not a checklist.
Information overload. There’s no shortage of voices out there, and it can be hard to know which ones to trust—or how to translate them into something that actually fits your life.
Fear of imperfection. Many witches hesitate to write, journal, or speak openly about their path until they feel “ready.” I promise, you already are.
My Notions are here to help untangle those threads, even if just for me. These essays and reflections explore tarot, daily practice, creativity, and the lessons I find along the way. They’re not instruction manuals; they’re conversation starters.
Because the Craft is about curiosity much more than t is about certainty—and every thought we unravel brings us closer to understanding the magic we already hold.
Writing is its own form of spellwork: each word a thread, each reflection a way of weaving ourselves closer to truth.
There is a magic to what can’t be held. The spark between thoughts, the hush before a card is turned, the way intuition hums just below reason. Not all spells need herbs or flame—some are woven from wonder alone.
Unveiling the Fool: Activist Tarot
The Fool is the first card in a Tarot Deck, symbolizing the beginnings we experience throughout life. Rather than sashaying through life without a care for the future, Tarot asks us to see the fool more comprehensively.
