The Conjuring Tree in West Jordan, Utah: Review
The Conjuring Tree in West Jordan is a haven for those who view the world differently. A space of community, gathering, and learning, The Conjuring Tree is more than a metaphysical shop. It’s an inclusive metaphysical space where you can be yourself; a place that feels like home.
About The Conjuring Tree
Owners Andrew Mulcock and Jeromy Robison have created a space where people from all paths of worship are welcome. While both have a Celtic ancestry, they’ve learned about many other Pagan and Occult practices to provide tools and resources to others. They have tools and metaphysical supplies for pagans, hoodoo and voodoo practitioners, witches, and spiritual seekers.
“Our goal as a store is never to tell you this is how something should be done, our goal is to say, ‘where do you want to be and how can we help you get there?’”, Andrew said.
Andrew and Jeromy began creating candle holders and witchy tools in 2017, out of an oak branch, and sold them to friends and family. This ignited their love of craft, and showed them a demand for high-quality handmade tools. The two began crafting a variety of tools for witchcraft and other Pagan and spiritual practices.
First came the oak branch, then a lathe or two. “It was very much a, you give a mouse a cookie, type thing.” The two made more and more items, and learned about the spiritual and magickal properties of over 60 trees. Trees are closely tied to the spiritual practices of ancient and modern Celts.

The Conjuring Tree is Born in West Jordan
For three years, the two sold their supplies at markets and even from the shed in their back yard once the pandemic hit. A few years later, they were ready to take another step forward in their small business, and The Conjuring Tree was born in a 900-square-foot storefront.
“The name itself, The Conjuring Tree, comes from the fact that Druids, when they met, would never meet unless there was an oak in their grove,” Andy said.
Both Jeromy and Andy have always felt connected to the trees and the forest, and wanted to create a space where people with spiritual paths different from mainstream Utah could gather and share their practice.
“To conjure is to bring forth, bring something forward, to bring something amazing into existence,” Andy said.
In their current store front, they have a metal beam turned tree, decorated for the seasons and Wheel of the Year, to symbolize this space of conjuring. And they’ve brought that ‘something amazing’ to being.
Handmade, Artisan Tools
Andy and Jeremy are the owners of the Conjuring Tree, and they have selected a variety of locally-made witchy tools and decor items for clients, including wooden wands, altar items, and stitched decor.
Intuitive Guidance & Readings
One of the things I love about The Conjuring Tree is their emphasis on high-quality, experienced psychics, mediums, tarot and bone readers, and other practitioners.
Ethically-Sourced Supplies
One of the things the team at Conjuring Tree strives to do is find ethically sourced metaphysical supplies. They source bones, indigenous tools, and more from local artisans and ethical sources.

My Experiences at The Conjuring Tree
I have been to the Conjuring Tree many times, despite the drive from south Utah County. Each time I’ve been there has been a wonderful experience. I’ve interacted with many of the staff and readers, and each visit has been helpful and respectful.
Two such visits stick out in my mind that I feel really highlight the “something amazing” that Andy and Jeromy have worked so hard to conjure.
On-the Spot Energy Cleansing and Healing
I was introduced to the Conjuring Tree by a dear friend, and I walked through the store when it was only 900 square feet. It was a gathering of supplies, decks, and books I’d never seen before. As my friend and I were leaving, Andy struck up a conversation with her. Without any context, he could sense she’d been struggling, and she broke down. He had her sit and listen as he ran through a mini sound bath for her - and she came out to the car with tears of another kind on her face, and a lighter spirit.
My Ollivander’s Experience: Getting My Wand
My 7-year-old daughter had been asking for months for a wand like a cheap Amazon wand I bought for her friend for a birthday party as a last-minute gift. It was an ‘oh shit, I’ve checked my local metaphysical shop, and they don’t have one, ugh,’ moment. For my self-proclaimed witchy child, though, I was going to do it right.
I walked into the Conjuring Tree and headed for their wands. I wasn’t sure which one would be right for her (although I saw one I liked), and I asked Andy what he would suggest. They have a Wand Search feature on their website, and he walked me through how to find her the right one. We settled on Olive Wood (not from Palestine), and chose the exact one I’d been looking at.
I was curious, so I asked what he’d suggest for me. He suggested rose wood, and went back to see if they had any. Instead of coming out with a hand-made wand, he walked out with a chunk of wood, put it in my hands and said, “this is your wand”. It was an experience like no other. I picked it up less than two weeks later, thrilled with my wand and my experience, once again.
A quick note on the wands at the Conjuring Tree: each of the handmade wands has a different meaning and feel to it. They are crafted with intention and even reverence by Andy and Jeromy, allowing the wood to determine the shape, style, and feel of the wand. The hand crafted wands are simple, which allows the finder to decorate and personalize it in a way that feels authentic to them. I highly recommend the experience of wand shopping here.
